These rail covers are a tight fit on my M1A rails. Trimmed about a half inch off the end on the 2 for the side rails, and they look like they were born to be there. Did a slight flex exercise on them prior to installation, and with a genlte nudge outward from a small flat blade screwdriver on the starting point, they went on without a hitch, and they are not going anywhere soon. As I mentioned, they are a tight fit.
