Our vinyl mats and rubber mats are available in rolls from 1 foot up to 150 feet long. Rubber roll mats and vinyl roll matting area ideal when safety, extra traction and direction matting is required. Runner mats are often used in aisle ways, warehouses, plant facilities, vending areas and horse stables to name a few locations. As always, most our runner roll matting contains between 33% and 100% recycled content.
Proper storage of vinyl rolls is essential to maintain material quality and inventory control. Vinyl for future use may be stored in the original cardboard shipping box, positioned upright on a surface elevated from the floor. If the vinyl will be stored without the box or used within a reasonable time, the roll can stored on a vinyl storage rack. Vinyl has a shelf life determined by the manufacturer, after which the adhesive properties may diminish. Environmental factors such as air quality, humidity and room temperature can also affect the vinyl's adhesive. Consult the manufacturer's vinyl data sheet for specific information.
Install a twist tie onto the roll's plastic storage bag and place the roll on the storage rack. Rotate rolls end-to-end once every week to minimize end-flattening. As an added precaution against light degradation, green- or black-colored trash bags may be placed over reflective vinyl rolls, with white labels applied to the outside for date, stock and material information.
