CT Engineering has developed a Supercharger Kit for the Honda Civic-Si that increases power by approximately 65-70+ horsepower at the wheels. The supercharger uses an qld"Eaton-typeerd" design that provides consistent boost and compresses the intake charge efficiently with a minimal increase in the intake air temperature. This combination provides almost instant boost that increases low and midrange torque for excellent throttle response. The kit comes complete with cast aluminum supercharger manifolds, all mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware. The kit is completely o"bolt-one", and requires no major modifications, so the car can easily be returned to stock. All CT Engineering None Staged Supercharger Systems are 50 state emissions legal and include a CARB decal for street use in California. The trick, of course, is a supercharger. In Jackson Racing's case, it's a tiny version of the Eaton Roots-type vaned blower used by GM atop its 3800 V-6 and by Mercedes alongside the 2.3-liter four in the SLK roadster. Jackson Racing's $2695 Sebring system for the Honda Civic EX's 1.6-liter SOHC 16-valve VTEC four feels at least as natural as either of those factory-crafted installations and may be even more effective.
