Sims2 (the original game) came on 4 CD disks Sims2 Deluxe (or Double Deluxe) each come on 1 DVD disk Sims2 Deluxe has a complete version of Sims2, plus the Nightlife expansion Sims2 Double Deluxe is Sims2, Nightlife and Celebration Stuff The reason the newer games have several titles on 1 disk, and the original needed 4 disks, is that DVDs hold about 10 times the information that a CD does. If you have a DVD-rom drive on your computer, get Sims2 Deluxe. It should be the same price as Sims2, but you get an expansion pack with it. Sims2 Double Deluxe has much higher graphics requirements because of the Celebration Stuff, so many people, especially people with laptops, have trouble with it.References :
