My own personal scarf storage solution came out of necessity – after recently relocating and losing my dresser, I NEEDED a place to store my dozens of scarves, and I just so happened to have excess hangers from a pre-move closet purge. I simply pull the ends of the scarf through the loop, making them wrap around the inner bar of the hanger (much like pulling the ends through the folded O around your neck). I lined them up by color, for easy sorting and dressing in the mornings. Itl’s an efficient use of space, as I can often fit 3-5 scarves per hanger.
Determine and then implement your method of storage. If you have a small scarf collection or want to achieve all-out organization, place neatly folded scarves in a drawer or storage container. If painstaking perfection isn't a concern, place an untidy assortment of scarves in drawers and storage bins. To save space, install a wall-mounted bag dispenser, and fill it with scarves. The opening allows for easy acess and these devices will hold a lot if scarves.
salaams, i bought the 1st one from ikea however because i tend to wear cotton/viscose scarves they get creased in the middle and also my scarves are oblong and so they hang below and gets very mess i store my scarves in storage similar to link above only mine is much more slimmer so takes less wardrobe space and its pink! because it has about 5 shelves i can put a colour on each shelf. think i finally have a scarf storage solution alhamdulillah:)xxx
For temporary storage, fold each scarf length-wise and drape it over a triangle-shaped wire or plastic clothes hanger. You can also find hanging devices designed for scarf storage at a specialty home goods store. A hanging shoe rack made of plastic or cloth can be a useful tool as well. Fold or roll the scarves and lay them in each compartment. This allows for easy viewing.
