The bottom line: Reduced time-to-market Users can quickly configure PM1000 power converters to meet both hardware and software needs and analyze known and unknown variables. This high level of flexibility and ease-of-use has earned PM1000 converters recognition as the ideal platforms for rapidly deploying new designs and control strategies. Using PM1000 converters, engineers can focus on key technology unknowns7mdash;and accelerate the development of electric power systems.
The PM 1000 PDUs enable companies of all sizes to accurately measure the current, voltage and power for the entire strip and the circuits within. The PM 2000 and PM 3000 PDUs take this a step further to support outlet-level metering and switching capability (PM 3000 PDUs only) to provide data center professionals the tools they need to monitor, measure, reduce and manage the growing power consumption costs of IT equipment.
The PM1000 II provides the pilot with the most capability for the least amount of money. Individual volume and squelch controls eliminate the frustration of clipped syllables, ensures quiet intercom operation because only the active mic picks up sound, and allows the use of dissimilar headsets. Pilot Isolate is standard and allows the pilot uninterrupted radio operation while the passengers can continue to talk with themselves and listen to entertainment. Music input with Soft Mute attenuates the music anytime someone speaks or the radio becomes active and then slowly returns to full volume when the activity ceases.
The PM-1000 uses a 10-bit (1,024 gray levels) interline transfer CCD for imaging. This allows for use of an electronic shutter, increasing its measurement speed and long-term reliability. The PM-1000 is available in two configurations: as a photometer that offers luminance measurement only, and as a colorimeter for simultaneous luminance and chromaticity measurements. For cost efficiency, the PM-1000 colorimeter utilizes color filters integrated with the CCD in a Bayer pattern; this allows greater measurement speed but with less accuracy and effective spatial resolution than Radiant Imaging’s color filter-based colorimeter models. Multiple lens options allow the PM-1000 to be configured for many different measurement applications.
