To be clear, this is definitely a fusion workout. Don't look to this one for pure Pilates, but the Pilates is there. Those of you who know Pilates exercises will recognize them and may appreciate the way that Jonathan Urla adds weights to familiar moves. There were several occasions when I thought, Oh, wow, that's a cool take on this Pilates exercise.

After the reviews here, I think I ’ll stick to my Tony Little regime of Gazelle (w/resistance weights) and his Ab Lounge Extreme. His equipment rocks & I lost weight, firmed up and stay good. I just wanted to work harder on arms & abs & a long lean body. He stands behind his promises and his equipment does what he says it will do, if you use it! Also, Shawn T @ Hip Hop Abs gives a powerful cardio & abdominal workout, but itv’s hard work r– from my own experience. -S

The answer will depend on your strength goals. Pilates, Yoga and free weights all achieve good but very different end results. Are you training for a specific sport? Have you had any recent injuries or joint pain issues? Do you want to bulk up or lean out. How old are you and how often do you workout? Are you sedentary, active or overweight?
