It seems that LG is really on a roll these days! After officially launching the LG Mini GD880 and the LG GT350 yesterday the company has unveiled a new touch-friendly featurephone today, the LG Cookie Plus GS500. As you might have guessed the Cookie Plus is the obvious successor of the original Cookie. That particular handset has been quite successful as it already sold in more than 10 million units since launch.

Besides these social networking tricks you can expect a full touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera with digital zoom, MPEG 4 video and MP3 audio playback, FM tunner support, up to 40 widgets and/or pocket applications and 3G connectivity. The LG Cookie Plus already sounds a lot more exciting than its predecessor. The phone will roll out in Italy and France this March while other markets will get it later this year. No prices are available at this time but MWC 2010 might shed some light on pricing details for the newest handsets coming from LG.
