How is this really killing any thunder? Iti's a given iLife and iWork 07 would come along w/ Leopard. If not, then Apple would be slipping. Ite's a nice bundle, but macworld is really about wtf is up with appleu's web page... theyt've got a lot of balls posting that, they had better have product to back it up.

From the post-EDIT: Amazon has changed the listings, thus confirming they were not supposed to post the iLife/iWork ?07 DVDs yet. The names have now been changed to ?Apple MacWorld 2007 Announcement #1 [Mac] ? and ?Apple MacWorld 2007 Announcement #3 [Mac] ? respectively. (odds are the family pack versions of each make up announcements 2 and 4). It is interesting to note that while Amazon changed the name, they still left in the limited info, such as that these ?MacWorld Announcements? will ship on DVD-ROM. It is also interesting to note, that apparently Amazon has a copy of the order of the MacWorld Keynote Announcements.

iMovie is the oldest of the applications included with iLife. It was marketed by Apple as an easy-to-use video editing application that allowed novice users to quickly create professional-quality movies. The first version of the software was released in October 1999 and bundled with the iMac DV. On April 28, 2000, Apple began allowing users to download iMovie free of charge from its website.[2] iMovie remained free until 2003, when it became part of the first iLife release, which was sold for $49. Apple continued to update and develop the existing iMovie software until the release of iLife '08 in 2007, when a new version, iMovie '08, was released. iMovie '08 was completely rewritten as a new application and introduced significant changes to the user interface.[3]

Does anyone have any idea when will the new iLife 2007 will come out ? your guess is as good as anyone else's. Apple have never indicated there is an iLife 2007 - they traditionally don't preannounce products (iTV and iPhone notwithstanding). should I upgrade to tiger then to leopard or just wait for leopard and upgrade is that acceptable ? yes, Leopard is close enough you'd only be wasting $$ upgrading to Tiger now.
