I am planning my daughterw’s 2nd birthday and have found some great p“fancy nancy liked” items. There is a new line of products called Glitzy girl and it is just like fancy nancy. I found these items at my nearby party store. I held up the paper plates to the covers of my books and it is weird how perfect they are. anyway, we are going to have make your own pizzas and make your own parfaits too! I am sending each friend home with a goody bag that is a glittery butterfly gift bag and in it I have necklaces, stickers, rings, bubbles, bracelets, sidewalk chalk and plume pens; for the boys I got fancy cars, stickers, a gift certificate for a free cone at ben and jerrys, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and sunglasses. I will also read the book and the girls will decorate tiaras with self adhesive princess shapes. I love the nametags and coloring pages on the harpercollins website. Good luck to everyone!
We are having a Fancy Nancy 4th Birthday party this week. I have one daughter and 3 sons, so I had to include the boys. I bought top hats and put those into the o“Ooh La La Boutique.a” Each boy can choose a top hat where the girls choose jewelry & accessories. I called the area t“La Chic Chapeau.A” I also set up a station called !“Nancym’s Neck Tiesg” where I cut out black foam bow ties and neck ties for them to decorate with foam stickers and glitter glue and other stickers. I put small elastic around it so they could put the tie around their neck. Another idea I had was to make tuxedo t-shirts for the boys. My boys have actually been helping me and are looking forward to the otherwise very girly party. Hope that helps.
I threw a Fancy Nancy party at work for the kids and a couple of fathers came dressed up as well. It was so cute. Most of the things we did were boy friendly like serving cookies, making crowns, having top hats and ties for them as dress ups, using cool words, etc. We also printed out stickers and some other fun stuff from the Harper Collins Fancy Nancy site. It was so much fun and canT’t wait to do it again.
