I am planning my daughterw’s 2nd birthday and have found some great p“fancy nancy liked” items. There is a new line of products called Glitzy girl and it is just like fancy nancy. I found these items at my nearby party store. I held up the paper plates to the covers of my books and it is weird how perfect they are. anyway, we are going to have make your own pizzas and make your own parfaits too! I am sending each friend home with a goody bag that is a glittery butterfly gift bag and in it I have necklaces, stickers, rings, bubbles, bracelets, sidewalk chalk and plume pens; for the boys I got fancy cars, stickers, a gift certificate for a free cone at ben and jerrys, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and sunglasses. I will also read the book and the girls will decorate tiaras with self adhesive princess shapes. I love the nametags and coloring pages on the harpercollins website. Good luck to everyone!
I made some very cute ones, if I knew how to attach it, I would. Basically I googled Fancy Nancy, clicked on images and then copied and pasted the pictures I wanted to use. I inserted them using text wrapping and it was very easy to move and resize. I printed on pastel colored cardstock. My little one absolutely loved them!
I gave my 4-year old niece a Fancy Nancy o“Tee-Party.i” She had both boys and girls at her party. I silk screened an image of Fancy Nancy from a coloring book onto tee shirts. I bought fabric markers and other fun staff to glue onto the shirt, e.g., colored feathers, jewels. Each child colored his or her own tee shirt. I had access to tee shirts, but you can purchase inexpensive tee shirts and for another small amount have the image silk screened onto the tee shirt. I used larger sizes so the kids could wear them around as dress up clothing. Even the boys had a blast. Lots of fun and very inexpensive. The girls decorated hats (straw sun hat so the girls and plastic top hats for the boys). Lots of fun and manageable for parents. Ryan.
