Me again... We have the opportunity to have the Author of the Fancy Nancy Books visit our second grade school. A few of the people on our PTO board feel that the second grade girls are m"passedo" this stage. Wanted to take an informal poll of moms of second grade girls. Would your 7-8 year old daughter be interested in seeing the Fancy Nancy Author's (Jane O'Coonor) presentation? (and how about dressing up fancy???) Thanks for your help once again!

Sometimes I think parents think their children are more grown up than they truly are. Kids take their cues from their parents. Girls definitely still love dressing up at this age unless they are worried about it not being "cools" and being d"coold" is being pushed on kids way too soon. Let the little girls be little girls :-) Have Fancy Nancy's author come to the school.
