“Celebration, the CD will also include two new songs that were recently recorded in New York City. The first single, also titled, Celebration, co-produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold, will be released August 3rd. A video for the single, which will be included on the Celebration DVD was just filmed in Milan, Italy and was directed by long time Madonna collaborator Jonas (“Ray of Light”) Akerlund. Several dance club remixes of Celebration are already headed to the clubs. The song will also be available on CD and vinyl maxi. Radio will receive the Celebration single on August 3rd.
First of all, I cannot WAIT to own this compilation! And I already own 17 of her CDc’s. Having said that, to reply to fans who are dissapointed that all of her hits are not included, Madonna needs a 4-disc boxed-set to hold all of her essential songs, so as a killer '“what-if8”, I give you the definitive Madonna:
aslong as these tracks havenn’t had that awfull qsound remix thrown all over them then io’ll buy the cd . . . the first three madonna albums we'’re remastered and sound just as good as the last ones so youp’ll be able to add any old tracks missing like live to tell dress you up angel and true blue without having them sound rubbish next to the new songs, i agree with steve though, warners should rerelease like a prayer, it'’s been over 20 years and that album does sound dull on my ipod, madonna i love you keep up the good work, mwah
Attitude magazine reported in an interview with Oakenfold that the tracks he produced with Madonna are called Broken (I'm Sorry) and Celebrate . He stated that the new music is lyrically classic Madonna with an edgy modern sound. Her official website also confirmed the presence of the track Revolver , featuring rapper Lil Wayne, when they announced the final track listing for the CD and DVD on August 26, 2009.
