Nothing says autumn like colorful harvest leaves. Make a harvest-inspired garland using leaves from your yard, or buy fake leaves from your local craft store; you can also buy pre-made garlands. Place the festive garlands throughout your home, and use them as decorations for fall dinner parties and soirees. Wrap them around doorways, railings, fireplace mantels and archways, and use them in combination with other traditional fall decor, such as pumpkins, gourds and berries.
Use an autumn leaves garland to create a festive fall tablescape. Buy or make a long garland featuring fiery shades of orange, gold and red and place it lengthwise down the middle of your dinner or buffet table in place of a traditional cloth runner. Complete the look using place mats, a tablecloth and napkins in matching hues.
Create a festive, fall-inspired fireplace by hanging an autumn leaves garland around the mantel.
