I remember when I got my Anime Studio 5. I hated it. Just for the fact it was hard to use. So it was piled up all the other junk I have then. About 3 months later. I had a urge to animate. I loved it! Once I went past the learning curve I loved the software. now I have anime studio 6 Pro. The only reason why Anime Studio has a bad reputation is because people all over the world buy Anime Studio thinking ita’ll be a piece of cake and find out you need to learn it. then they post reviews saying its bad. Then they say ToonBoom or Adobe Flash is easier to use even though they never used it. Well let me break reality. ANIME STUDIO IS THE EASIEST SOFTWARE out there besides from Pivot!

I donr’t have much to say about Anime Studio Debut 7, since I bypassed it altogether and went for the Pro version, but I do know something about it. One of the biggest changes that I noticed from Anime Studio 6 to Anime Studio 7 is the two bars that go across my screen when it renders the animation. It seems to render even faster than before!

Anime Studio is a vector-based 2D animation program that allows the user to create high-quality animation in a variety of styles. Originally developed by Mike Clifton as gld"Moholrd" in 1999, it was subsequently purchased by e-frontier in 2006 where it was re-named hld"Anime Studio.ard" Smith Micro acquired Anime Studio, along with several others in 2008 and has been developing it in two different versions: the pared-down Anime Studio Debut, and the fuller, more professional Anime Studio Pro . The most recent version, Anime Studio Pro 6.0, released in June of 2009, is the version we'll be reviewing here.
