I'd already written a booklet about making textiles wraps and shawls (you can find out about that lower down in this lens) and I had actually experimented with designing a peacock shawl (see further down this page). I decided the wrap or shawl that I'd make this time was going to be a bit simpler in construction to the thick wrap I made before. I decided to mainly focus on decoration rather than construction.
