The players were compelled to use the surprise colour in the final group D match that they lost 1-2 but no official was ready to explained. The team registered an-all white apparel as its first choice of jersey for the three-week tournament and yellow as its second but was surprisingly seen in blue-black in Tuesday's game. A Ghana News Agency source in Egypt said however, that the players could not assign a particular reason for the rejection. Some superstitious soccer fans back in Ghana said the colours could play a role in the team's demise.
